Welcome to Hank's Tail Wag Inn!
We're Tara, Byron, Wrigley, Hank and our new pal Cooper (not in this photo).
We’ve always loved the country, and after moving to the city where we were owners for Waggin Zen Garden Sniffspot in Janesville, WI. We knew we wanted to be back where we belong – surrounded by open space, fresh air, and most importantly, dogs! That love for dogs led us to Hanks Tail Wag Inn, where we provide a safe, comfortable and fun boarding experience for your furry family member.
Located on a spacious 10 acre property just outside of Wisconsin Dells in Lyndon Station, we offer a peaceful retreat for dogs of all breeds and sizes. As a family owned, live on premises facility, we ensure around the clock supervision and personalized care so every pup feels at home.

We offer a temperature controlled indoor kennel. Kennel sizes range from 4X6, 6X6 and 3X6. 8X18 kennel building is available for a family. Private dog runs with individual doors for potty and playtime. Dogs will have free range of their private 4X10 outdoor run and potty time as needed. We will offer 3 supervised social times daily. Dog

Dog doors will be closed for bedtime. Dogs from the same household can be kenneled together or separately. Elevated beds are provided in each kennel for added comfort. All collars, chains and harnesses are removed while in the kennel for safety. Metal food/water bowls are provided. Our play yard is 25X50 and available for well socialized dogs. Social dogs are able to interact with farm animals on the property in a 1 acre fenced in area with your consent. Non social dog? No problem we offer one on one time for play. Dogs displaying excessive barking, humping or resource guarding will be removed from group play.
Unneutered males can board however in season females are not allowed.
2025 Pricing:
1 dog per kennel $30/day
2 dogs sharing kennel (same household) $55/day
3 dogs sharing kennel (same household) $70/day
Private family kennel (same household) $90/day
Dogs that do not live together cannot be kenneled together.

Is your dog celebrating a birthday or adoption day with us? Treat them to a special frozen treat for $3. Pictures will be provided during celebration.

Required Vaccinations
Pups must be current on the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Bordetella
- A negative Fecal Test result within the last 12 months of booking date. We require test results sent directly to us from your vet.
Vaccination records and fecal test results must be provided prior to your reservation from your vet. Records can be emailed to hankstailwaginn@gmail.com Failure to provide these records or dogs not up-to-date on vaccines will be DENIED service. It is your responisbilty to ensure Hank's Tail Wag Inn has CURRENT and UPDATED vaccination records. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Essentials for Check-In:
• Leash: All dogs must be leashed from your vehicle to our boarding facility.
• Food: Must be pre-portioned per meal in Ziploc bags.
• No large bags, bins, or tubs—we don’t have the space to store them.
Comfort & Enrichment:
• Medications/Supplements (please provide pill pockets if needed).
• Washable Blanket (no large dog beds, please—just a blanket is fine,something that smells like home!).
• Toys, Chews, or Bones for mental enrichment (must be safe for unsupervised kennel use).
• Bowls? No need to bring them—we provide them!
Important Notes:
We do not board female dogs in heat. If a dog comes into season during their stay, an emergency contact will need to pick her up immediately.

Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash, Credit Card, Venmo (no online payments via Zelle, or PayPal).
Credit card payments are processed via Square and include a 3% service fee.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
For security reasons, we do not keep credit card information on file.
Want to treat a fellow dog lover? Gift certificates are available in any dollar amount and never expire! Email us to arrange payment and shipment.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible so we can attempt to rebook your spot.
Cancellation Fees:
• Less than 48 hours notice (or less than 7 days for major holidays & Spring Break) → 50% of your total reservation will be charged.
• No-Show (failure to cancel & not showing up) → 100% of your total reservation will be charged.
By securing a written reservation via email, you are agreeing to the cancellation policy outlined above.
